JVC integrates IP-Network Cameras
Continuing their commitment to open architecture solutions and to delivering the most reliable, compatible and expandable security products to its customers, JVC has
announced the integration of IP video surveillance cameras - notably the VN-V686BU and VN-V686WPBU pan/tilt/zoom (PTZ) cameras and VN-V25U and VN-V26U fixed cameras - into American
Fibertek Inc.’s (AFI) Video Network Enterprise Solution (V’nes) camera management platform.
This integration is a result of JVC customers’ desire to integrate JVC’s IP cameras within their new and existing American Fibertek systems. As JVC is the latest manufacturer to have IP network cameras incorporated into AFI’s growing list of IP network drivers, AFI customers can now seamlessly integrate JVC’s latest and most innovate IP cameras - such as the SIA New Product Showcase award winning VN-V686WPBU PTZ - into their surveillance systems.
“JVC is committed to open architecture solutions and this integration with AFI’s V’nes system allows us to broaden our connection with one of the leading IP surveillance companies in the industry,” Geoff Anderson, national marketing manager for Security Products, JVC reveals. “AFI’s V’nes systems are installed at ING Bank Headquarters, City of Naperville, at Mr. Chow’s Restaurant chain and countless other high end security systems around the world.”
”V’nes is all about providing customers with choices. Through this joint effort with JVC, American Fibertek is happy to offer its customers greater choice and access to quality IP
network cameras,” Ed Davis, vice president of marketing, American Fibertek comments. “Here at AFI, we believe such alliances will play an important role in the future of IP video
surveillance.”
